British Council Latvia organizes five days training for existing and future community leaders to improve their knowledge, skills, and motivation to implement activities and projects at their communities that would bring positive changes and increase social coherence.
The training will take place in Riga from 14 till 18 May as part of the Active Citizens programme. It will be led by an international expert from the UK thus the working language will be English.
Anyone who would like to change something in his or her community, has a motivation, but lacks knowledge, skills or courage to do so, is welcome to take part in the training. The application deadline is 3 May.
Accommodation and meals are covered by the British Council Latvia, participants will be asked to cover their own travel expenses to and from Riga.
